The Fray is on board to help the Global Poverty Project expand its annual free concert this year.
The Global Citizen Festival is now a series of concerts dubbed Global Citizen Nights. The Fray will kick things off March 10th in Austin, Texas along with Allen Stone and Saints of Valory.
Future Global Citizen Nights will take place in Nashville, Chicago, and St. Louis, with performers, venues, and dates set to be announced soon. And just like the original Global Citizen Festivals, the shows are meant to raise awareness to the global poverty epidemic.
Fray frontman Isaac Slade says it's almost unimaginable how many people live in extreme poverty in today's "so-called modern global landscape," and he hopes the band will be able to help bring attention to this important issue.
